AARP Arkansas
These state agencies have formed a partnership along with AARP Arkansas to protect the financial interests of senior citizens in Arkansas by holding town-hall meetings in your area. The meetings will have speakers to talk about subjects such as consumer alerts, bank safety and soundness, securities fraud, senior insurance issues, medicare fraud, and making good financial decisions.
In 2009, town-hall meetings will be held in the following locations:
Wednesday, November 4, 2009 in West Memphis
In 2009, town-hall meetings have been held in Wynne, Bella Vista, Fort Smith, North Little Rock, Conway, El Dorado, and Texarkana.
In 2008, town-hall meetings were held in Springdale, Hot Springs Village, Mountain Home, Jonesboro, Hope, and Monticello.
